MILWAUKEE (July 8, 2010) – Green Bay native Jay DeMerit, fresh off helping the U.S. men’s soccer team to the knockout round of the World Cup, joins “Soccer Saturday presented by the Milwaukee Wave” on 540 ESPN at 8 a.m. this Saturday. DeMerit was a starting central defender for the U.S. team, which won its group at the World Cup for the first time. A key performer for Watford in the English Football League Championship, he is drawing interest from other clubs in England and Europe after a solid World Cup performance. “Soccer Saturday presented by the Milwaukee Wave” is a one-hour show devoted to all aspects of soccer, from local developments and the indoor game to the world stage. The Milwaukee Wave professional indoor soccer team is the longest-running professional soccer team in the country.
