MILWAUKEE (October 26, 2010) -The Milwaukee Wave has unveiled the designs for the home jerseys it will wear this year. Visit the team’s Facebook page to check out all of the unique creations.
The Wave will make history this year in becoming the first team in MISL history to not have a home jersey. Instead, every home game, Milwaukee will wear a custom jersey, matching the colors and logos of the sponsoring charity.
The 11 charities are: the MACC Fund, the Children’s Hospital, Go Pink, Autism Society, Boys and Girls Club, American Diabetes Association/JDRF, Ronald McDonald House, United Way of Greater Milwaukee, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Special Olympics and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
After matches, the jerseys will be autographed by the players and auctioned off with all proceeds going towards the charity on the uniform.
*Jersey designs are not finalized and may be subject to change.
