MILWAUKEE (November 11, 2010)— The Milwaukee Wave announced today the signing of three midfielders... Brett Wiesner, Kyle Lance and Tom Oatley.
The Wave also returns Wisconsin native, Brett Wiesner, for his fifth season. After scoring six times last season he is 12 points short of 100 for his career. The 27-year-old has already accumulated 106 games played with the Wave. “I can’t wait to start the season and help the Wave go for their fifth MISL Championship”, Brett said.
Wisconsin native, Kyle Lance, will play in his second season with the Wave after scoring five goals in his first year with the Wave. The UW-Milwaukee alumnus joined the Wave last season after playing in Chicago. Lance, 28, set career highs in every category except penalty minutes last season. Kyle said today, “I love playing in my home town and look forward to getting back to the MISL finals!”
Tom Oatley, 23, scored two goals in his first professional season last year. The Western Michigan alumnus also added three assists in the nine games he played. Oatley finished the season on a tear, posting six of his nine points in the final three games of the season. “I am excited to be back and looking forward to being part of the team as we shoot for the championship”, Tom said.
Wave Head Coach Keith Tozer said, “Kyle, Brett and Tom bring depth to our midfielder position which is instrumental in our drive for our fifth Championship.”
