The Milwaukee Wave will hold School Day Exhibition Games on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 and Wednesday, February 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the US Cellular Arena. The School Day Exhibition Games are part of the Wave's Kohl's Cares Making Waves Program.
The Koh'ls Cares Making Waves Program is the largest multifaceted, multi-media, community outreach program by a professional sports team in the state. Players conduct an all school assembly teaching the importance of preparing, eating and living right. Schools are then provided the Wave of Wellness (W.O.W.) curriculum which is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to meet health educational standards. The W.O.W. includes features on players as well as expert-written health stories that go hand in hand with the assembly. Students are able to see the players in action in the School Day Exhibition games or have a school outing at a regular season game.
