MILWAUKEE (Feb. 23, 2010) - The first locally produced radio show on "the world's game" debuts at 8 a.m. March 6 with the inaugural broadcast of "Soccer Saturday presented by the Milwaukee Wave" on 540 ESPN and ESPNMilwaukee.com. Subject matter will cover the game at all levels, from spotlights on local youth teams and clubs to the Wave, American outdoor soccer and the FIFA World Cup. Matt Salmon of 540 ESPN will co-host the show with a rotating series of Wave hosts, including Wave Hall of Famer Art Kramer, Wave Head Coach Keith Tozer and Wave President and CEO Peter Wilt.
"We're excited to provide a forum for soccer fans in Wisconsin and via streaming and podcasts, the world," Wilt said. "We expect the show to provide entertaining and informative commentary and debate on all aspects of the world's game with a focus on soccer here in Wisconsin."

Milwaukee plays its final road game of the year on Sunday at Rockford at 5 p.m. The Wave return home Sunday, March 7 at 2 p.m. against Rockford.
